CinemaNext has completed the installation of Pathé Switzerland’s brand-new Pathé Spreitenbach multiplex, located near Zurich. Open to the public since May 9, the 10-screen cinema complex (1,322 seats) has been equipped by CinemaNext Switzerland with 4K laser phosphor projection, Dolby Surround 7.1 and three Dolby Atmos-enabled screens.

The Ymagis Group’s today reported an increase in revenue of 7.2 percent in the first quarter of 2019 following four consecutive quarters in decline. Thanks to robust equipment sales and its geographical expansion, CinemaNext recorded a 45 percent increase in revenue at €17.0 million, which more than offset the scheduled reduction in virtual print fee revenue.

Systems integrator CinemaNext has reached an agreement with Saudi fashion retail giant Fawaz Alhokair Group for the installation of its first multiplex in Saudi Arabia under the new cinema brand Muvi. More than one hundred dog owners and their pets from all over Taiwan recently converged on Songshan Cultural and Creative Park for a charity premiere of the Hollywood film, A Dog’s Way Home. The film chronicles the heart-warming adventure of Bella, a dog who embarks on an epic 400-mile journey home after she is separated from her beloved human.
