Cinépolis Pejaten Village Installs Christie Projectors

Cinépolis Pejaten Village in southern Jakarta is installing Christie projectors. This is the exhibitor’s first multiplex in Indonesia to be fully equipped with Christie RGB pure laser projectors. It houses five auditoriums fitted with Christie CP2309-RGB and CP2320-RGB models.

CJ 4DPlex has unveiled new logos for its immersive seating technology 4DX and its sister brand, the multi-screen technology ScreenX. As 4DX and ScreenX have been rapidly expanding worldwide, the company implemented the new branding to increase brand consistency for 4DX and ScreenX. The goal is to position the 4DX brand as an exciting cinematic experience for customers for the next 10 years. 4DX has seen unprecedented growth and has gathered explosive popularity recently. Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont Installing 200-Plus Barco Series 4 Laser Projectors

European exhibitor Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont is installing more than 200 Barco Series 4 laser projectors. Cinionic, the Barco, CGS, and ALPD cinema joint venture, will power Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont’s new builds in France and Africa, beginning with its new theater in Sousse Tunisia, Africa. Currently, Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont operates more than 100 theaters across European and African countries. Together the companies will upgrade new and existing Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont theaters to bring an elevated movie-going experience for its audiences.

KNCC Installs Unique X RosettaBridge TMS

The Kuwait National Cinema Company has installed Unique X’s RosettaBridge theatre management systems product suite within the Kuwaiti territory, enabling KNCC theatres, operating under the Cinescape brand, to automate and centrally manage its theatre portfolio, while automating much of the daily booth operations. The technology package also includes a Basekey key digital messaging system.

Influx Extends Technology Support Offer for African Cinemas

Announcing its participation in the Emerging Cinema Markets conference in Istanbul November 19-21, Influx Worldwide has extended its dedicated African program of cinema technology products and services for African movie theatres – It’s Showtime for Africa – into 2020. The program is offered on a low- to no-cost basis to qualifying cinema exhibitors, to enable digital movie ticketing, loyalty and subscription programs for moviegoers across the continent.
