Carmike Acquires Sundance Cinemas
Carmike Cinemas has acquired all of Sundance Cinemas for $36.0 million in cash, subject to customary working capital and other adjustments. The transaction simultaneously closed upon signing of the purchase agreement. Carmike now operates 274 theatres with 2,909 screens in 41 states.

Sky Cinemas Kuwait Sign Exclusivity Agreement with Barco
Sky Cinemas Kuwait has made a commitment to Barco partner CineTech to exclusively install Barco projectors, including laser projection for future sites. Wanda Cinema to Install Christie Digital Cinema Technology Across its Chain
Wanda Cinema Line, the world’s largest cinema operator with 195 theaters and 1,732 movie screens in China as at July 2015, will install upwards of 1,500 Christie Solaria Series 2K and 4K digital cinema projectors, as well as the Christie Vive Audio solution in selected theaters, over three years.
Village Cinemas, Argentina, Completes Digital Deployment with Christie
Village Cinemas, one of Argentina’s leading film theater chains, has completed its digitalization with the Christie Solaria Series. In the final phase of its digital roll out, Village Cinemas installed 38 Christie CP2220 projectors, making the majority of Village Cinemas’ 79 screens Christie installations.
