China Film Company, one of the leading Chinese motion picture and television companies, today issued a press statement to the Shanghai stock exchange announcing its intent to acquire a 15 percent stake in Ymagis SA’s common stock.
The Emoji Company and Sony Pictures Animation today announced that they have entered into a licensing agreement with regard to emoji company’s registered emoji trademark. The agreement covers the use of the term emoji in connection with SPA’s worldwide merchandising program for SPA's upcoming comedy feature The Emoji Movie, coming to theatres August 11.

Dadi Cinema Group has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Enterprise ICT Solutions (China Entercom). Under the terms of the agreement, China Entercom will provide Dadi with a comprehensive network management solution including consultation, design, deployment and operations support.

MBO Cinemas, Malaysia, has committed to purchase 100 Dolby ShowVault/Integrated Media Blocks as well as 75 units of the Dolby Digital Cinema Processor CP750 and 25 units of the Dolby Atmos Cinema Processor CP850 to deploy in all of its new cinema screens in Malaysia through June 1, 2018.
CinemaNext has signed an agreement with Empire Cinemas, the UK’s leading independently owned cinema chain, to oversee projection and audio installations, field services and technical customer support. The agreement covers Empire’s entire network of 14 locations across Great Britain, representing a total of 127 screens, including two IMAX Cinemas.
Bow Tie Cinemas has signed on to become National CineMedia’s newest affiliate. Beginning in the first quarter of 2017 Bow Tie’s 43 theaters with 271 screens in Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Virginia will become part of America’s Movie Network.
