Haddad Promoted to President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment

David Haddad has been promoted to president, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment it was announced today by Diane Nelson, president of DC Entertainment, president and chief content officer, WBIE, and president, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and Ron Sanders, president, Warner Bros. Worldwide Home Entertainment Distribution. Haddad will continue to report to both Nelson and Sanders.

Kodak Names Steve Bellamy President of Motion Picture and Entertainment

Kodak has named Steve Bellamy as its new president of Motion Picture and Entertainment. Based in Los Angeles, Bellamy will be responsible for growing and deepening Kodak’s relationships with creative luminaries and business leaders in the entertainment industry, working on creative advocacy programs, creating partnerships and new business models, and developing Kodak-branded solutions for the entertainment industry. Bellamy has spent the last six years as CEO of Action Sport Networks and will remain the chairman of that business.

Arclight Films, Huace Group Create Aurora Alliance Films

Zhao Yifang, president of China’s leading entertainment conglomerate, Huace Group and Gary Hamilton, managing director of Arclight Films, in Los Angeles have signed a comprehensive strategic alliance that draws the blueprint for a, multi-faceted $300 million feature film collaboration. The partnership plans to deliver no less than three films per year through Aurora Alliance Films, a newly created joint production company by Huace Group and Arclight Films.

Weinstein Company Renews Deal with Hollywood Software

Hollywood Software has signed a three-year deal with multimedia production and distribution company, The Weinstein Company, to utilize Hollywood Software’s TDS software across all three of its companies—including TWC, genre label Dimension Films and multi-platform distribution arm Radius-TWC—to manage distribution of upcoming features.
