Technicolor PostWorks New York recently completed editorial finishing and color grading for the first season of the new FX comedy Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. Slated to premiere July 16th, the show stars Denis Leary (who also wrote and directed) as Johnny Rock, an aging singer trying to reform his old band and make good on the unfulfilled dreams of his youth.
Andrew Jarecki’s engrossing documentary series The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst explores the murky world of a real estate magnate suspected of three murders. Post-production finishing for the series, airing in six parts on HBO, was completed at Technicolor PostWorks New York.
Technicolor PostWorks provided post-production services for six films screening at this month’s South By Southwest Film Festival. They include headliners Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine, in its world premiere, and Manglehorn, in its U.S. premiere. Also screening are Adult Beginners (Festival Favorites/U.S. Premiere), The Final Girls (Narrative Spotlight/World Premiere), The Grief of Others (Narrative Competition/World Premiere) and Mania Days(Narrative Spotlight/World Premiere).
