Two premium large format auditoriums at Italy’s new Arcadia Stezzano Cinemas are the first global deployments of Meyer Sound Lina line array loudspeakers as screen channels for the Dolby Atmos immersive audio format. The five screen channels each comprise six element Lina arrays which anchor sonic imagery across the front end. An additional 60 Meyer Sound self-powered loudspeakers envelop audiences in a powerful, dynamic, and richly detailed cinema sound experience.
The Arcadia Stezzano cinema has opened as part of the expansion of the Le Due Torri Shopping Center outside Milan, Italy. An investment by Piero Fumagalli, it is the first new cinema inaugurated by an Italian independent exhibitor since the global pandemic began.
ArcLight Cinemas has selected Meyer Sound cinema audio systems for three screens at new upscale multiplex theaters in Chicago, Illinois; Bethesda, Maryland; and Santa Monica, California. A fourth Meyer Sound system was installed earlier at ArcLight Cinemas’ La Jolla, California location.
