Melbourne, Australia-based Village Entertainment has announced that its Victorian cinema locations will begin re-opening November 12. The theatres have been closed for eight months due to the pandemic.
“I am incredibly grateful to be able to welcome movie lovers back to the cinema and bring our staff back to work,” said Village Entertainment CEO, Kirk Edwards. “I would like to thank each and every Victorian who has supported Village Cinemas over the past eight months. As a Melbourne-based business, proudly operating in Victoria since 1954, the Village Entertainment team is delighted to be able to be part of the state’s recovery.”
Edwards said that there is a bit of work to be done behind the scenes to get ready, but that tickets will be on sale soon.
