Theodore Franklin Knapp, the co-founder of TK Architects in Overland Park, Kansas, died January 6 at the age of 83.Knapp graduated from Kansas State University with an architectural degree. While there, he took all the art classes available to him.  He was an artist at heart but made his living as an architect.

He and his wife Sue established TK Architects in 1981 and together they built the firm into what is now a premier entertainment and cinema architecture firm.
