Sound Artists from Sony Pictures Garner Emmy Nominations

Sound artists from Sony Pictures Post Production Services are among the nominees in the 67th Emmy Awards.

Re-Recording mixers Elmo Ponsdomenech and Todd Beckett are nominated for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation for their work on the Silicon Valley episode Server Space. They share the nomination with Production Mixer Ben Patrick.

Re-Recording mixers Mark Linden and Tara A. Paul are nominated in the same category for The Simpsons episode Simpsorama.

Supervising sound editor Pembrooke Andrews is nominated for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Limited Series, Movie or a Special for his work on 24: Live Another Day. He shares the nomination with sound editors Jeffrey R. Whitcher, Robert W. Guastini and Jeff Charbonneau; Foley editor Shawn Kennelly; and Foley artists Melissa Kennelly and Vincent Nicastro. Outstanding Sound Mixing for Nonfiction Programming for his work on Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, completed prior to his arrival at the studio.

This is the sixth Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Elmo Ponsdomenech, the ninth nomination (with one win) for Mark Linden, the seventh nomination (with two wins) for Tara A. Paul, the ninth nomination (with three wins) for Pembrooke Andrews and the third nomination for Steve Pederson. Todd Beckett is a first-time nominee.
