Screenvision Media today announced the promotion of John Marmo from director to vice president, training and compliance. This promotion comes following recent elevations across the national ad sales and business operations departments.
Marmo works on training with exhibitors at both the theatre and corporate levels to ensure the company’s best presentation on screen, whilst making sure the exhibitors are satisfied with the company’s distribution system and processes. He has been in the industry since 1976 and has been a critical part of the Screenvision Media team for 11 years.
Before joining Screenvision Media, Marmospent five years as the manager of projection quality control and training at Loews Cineplex Theatres, and prior to that was the business agent for projection services for Northern New Jersey, Local 632 IATSE. He holds a Master’s degree from Rutgers University Graduate School of Education and is based in New York.
