The Class of '92Evan Saxon, founder and managing partner of D&E Entertainment has re-launched Evan Saxon Productions, a global entertainment content distribution and marketing company.  For the past 10 years, along with delivering alternative content and event cinema strategies for content owners and movie theatres worldwide, Saxon has been creating innovative distribution and marketing campaigns for major studios, indie films, and documentaries. 

In reestablishing his previous company, Saxon has shuttered D&E Entertainment.

The first project under the Evan Saxon Productions banner is the Universal Pictures documentary film The Class of ‘92, detailing the rise to prominence and global sporting super-stardom of six supremely talented young Manchester United soccer players (David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Phil and Gary Neville).  Manchester United is one of the most popular sporting teams worldwide and David Beckham is truly a worldwide icon. The documentary film was released July 8 in select U.S. theatres.

Saxon is currently directing the theatrical campaign for the documentary film Farmland from Academy Award recipient James Moll (The Last Days). Not only an Academy Award winner, James Moll’s films have earned him two Emmys and a Grammy. Farmland has been seen in over 120 movie theatres and continues to generate interest and bookings.

In addition to distributing films for his clients, Saxon has been retained to create and mange social media campaigns, secure promotional partners, put together premier events, consult on music for films as well as VOD and digital release strategies.

He has overseen theatrical campaigns for The Beatles' Yellow Submarine, Pearl Jam’s Immagine In Cornice, The Who Live At Kilburn ’77, Rihanna, Led Zeppelin The Song Remains The Same,‘ RUSH Beyond The Lighted Stage’  'Iron Maiden Flight 666, CBGB starring Alan Rickman, Johnny Galecki & Ashley Green, Photographer Kevin Mazur's $ellebrity, Bob Marley Live At The Rainbow, Peter Bogdanovich’s Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers ‘Runnin’ Down A Dream, Andrea Bocelli, Lewis Black Stark Raving Black.  Documentary films include 'I Am Bruce Lee', Tattoo Nation, Citizen Hearst, and Jack Kerouac Estate’s One Fast Move or I’m Gone: Kerouac’s Big Sur.  Studios and content companies that have retained Evan include Fox Home Video, The Weinstein Company, Universal Pictures, Gravitas Ventures, Warner Bros., Banger Films, Sony Music, Atlantic Records, Xlrator Media, Eagle Rock, The Hearst Corporation and more.
