QSC Announces DCI Compliance for CMS-5000 Cinema Media Server

QSC’s CMS-5000 cinema media server has met all of the requirements of the Digital Cinema System Specification Version 1.2 published by Digital Cinema Initiatives, the company announced today. This certification validates that the next-generation cinema media server can reliably play controlled digital cinema content in movie theatres around the world and can reproduce high-quality images and sound as well as secure the content against piracy.

QSC’s CMS-5000 cinema media server has met all of the requirements of the Digital Cinema System Specification Version 1.2 published by Digital Cinema Initiatives.The certification testing was conducted by Aegisolve, an accredited cybersecurity laboratory under the Cryptographic and Security Testing Laboratory Accreditation Program and licensed by DCI for digital cinema equipment compliance testing.
