Petrol Bags Deca Large Lightweight Audio Bag PS617Petrol Bags introduces the Deca Large Lightweight Audio Bag (PS617). This professional carrier is optimally designed to transport the Sound Devices 664 (with or without the CL6 Controller) comfortably and securely, and keep it safe, organized and accessible while working.

The PS617 has a roomy main compartment that’s fully padded to safeguard delicate equipment. The bag’s standard removable internal divider accommodates the Sound Devices SD 664 mixer with the CL6 Controller attached, (held in place with four security straps), while offering easy access to the unit’s XLR connectors. The exterior front accessories pocket features a detachable frame that holds up to eight wireless receivers and transmitters. Connecting to the bag via hook and loop material and a secure strap and buckle system, the frame allows users to organize wireless devices before storage. Cables can be easily attached via an opening between the central chamber and front pouch.

The system affords free access to all mixer panels – side, back, top and bottom. The smartly designed bottom access offers four individual doors with unique locking magnets that are ideal to attach ‘com’ and ‘word clock’ connectors. Three plush protective cushions are easily removable for loading or custom configuration.

A transparent top cover allows easy viewing of controls, even in extreme temperatures down to 41°F (5°C). And when weather is not an issue, the cover may be swiftly opened and held in place via the hook and loop lock. Drawstring openings on both sides permit full access for connector cables to devices in the bag’s front and rear accessories compartments. An internal organizer within the roomy front pocket is just the thing for hard to find articles. Additionally, the handy back compartment offers dual-sided access to MP1 batteries.

There’s also a clear sleeve outside to fit a Betso TCD-1 time code reader or a boom pole. Additionally two expandable snap-on pouches hold extra transmitters or wireless receivers. When the system is loaded and ready to work, Petrol Bags padded, adjustable shoulder strap aids comfortable carrying.
