With its annual April trade show in Las Vegas cancelled in the wake of the pandemic, the National Association of Broadcasters in its place is offering a new digital experience. The NAB Show Express will take place May 13-14 free of charge and will include a Future of Cinema track produced in partnership with the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.
The digital platform is designed to engage the NAB Show community by offering 24-hour access to premium content, curated and customizable for the global media and entertainment community.
The Future of Cinema track will address the fact that “cinema is no longer confined to just a theatrical setting. With consumers seeking content via a myriad of distribution outlets, creators are working hard to maintain artistic intent in an ever-evolving landscape. But should that be the highest priority? The Future of Cinema track will explore this, and other thought-provoking questions as we examine the future of moviemaking and the technologies that are driving tomorrow’s experiences.”
Powered by Brightcove Inc. and Frequency, the NAB Show Express will offer three unique educational channels, on-demand content and an exclusive solutions marketplace featuring exhibitor product information, announcements and demos.
Registration for the event opens today at http://www.nabshowexpress.com.
