Pictured, left, Annie Gordon with Lizzie Hill. Gordon will oversee all of Lola’s operations across its roster of premium factual and drama projects reporting to Lola’s founder and creative director Rob Harvey. She brings to Lola her strong VFX production expertise gained over fifteen years working on high profile projects from The Hobbit Trilogy (MGM/ New Line Cinema) for Park Road/Weta in New Zealand, The Hunger Games Mockingjay (Lionsgate) and Ghosts (BBC) to creating new pipelines for virtual production and animation projects.

Gordon joins Lola from The Farm where she built their first VFX department Ghost VFX which she then led for four years with credits including The Outlaws (BBC/Amazon); Strangers (ITV), The Halcyon (Left Bank/ Sony) and Poldark (BBC). Her career spans studios from Lexhag to MPC and The Mill.

Gordon’s first hire was experienced senior producer Hill who will work with her to oversee Lola’s production slate. Hill joins Lola from high end creative production company Saddington Baynes where she was executive producer supervising a range of clients from American Honda to Estee Lauder.

Lola is currently in production on projects including Alexander the Great, a Netflix factual drama being produced by Lion Television/ Alexander Tailfeather; a comedy drama for AppleTV and two landmark Natural History factual shows for Netflix: Our Living World and Our Planet II.

Harvey said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Annie to the Lola team, particularly someone of her caliber and with her leadership experience. Her role will be pivotal as we continue to build a strong platform to deliver premium Factual and Drama content for film and episodic VFX to our clients.”

Gordon said, “I’m excited to jump on board with Lola’s strong, vibrant creative team and its friendly culture. They've got a great slate of Factual and Drama productions and their 22-year reputation precedes them. I'm really looking forward to working with the team here and the future is definitely bright”
