GDC Technology Limited announced today that the company will showcase its latest products at Big Cine Expo 2022, an interactive and value-added platform for theatre owners, equipment manufacturers, system integrators and the user community for single-screen and multiplex cinema entertainment in Asia and India. Big Cine Expo will take place August 16-17 at the Chennai Trade Center.

GDC will showcase a complete product line of SR Series media servers, including the SR-1000 IMB with the audio capability of rendering up to 32-channels of DTS:X immersive audio that support SMPTE’s ST 2098-2 immersive audio bitstream standard. Additionally, two media servers with Flexible Architecture Stable Technology high frame rate technology will be displayed, including the SR-5400 Series, which can play 4K 3D@96fps; and the SR-6400C designed for the Cinity cinema system, capable of supporting 4K 3D@120fps with a single projector and 4K 3D@240fps with a dual projection system.
GDC has added new features to Espedeo Supra-5000 RGB+ Laser Phosphor Cinema Projector to enhance the image quality and sound experience, such as offering various built-in options for a 5.1 / 7.1 cinema audio processor for PCM uncompressed surround sound to reproduce an incredibly deep, rich listening experience. With the latest option of a 15.1 cinema audio processor with a DTS:X for IAB decoder, audiences can immerse themselves with audio technology for a 360-degree sound experience.
To further enhance the moviegoing experience, GDC will showcase its DiveCtrl Dynamic Lighting System, a programmable custom lightshow to highlight the auditorium configuration and match the preshow content.
