GDC Technology Limited has announced that its enterprise software has been widely adopted by leading cinema chains globally. These cinema chains have replaced their legacy software systems with GDC’s theatre management system, central management system, and network operations center. GDC anticipates continued growth of its enterprise solutions in 2025, especially following the launch of GDC's software suite, which is available in web-based, cloud-based, and on-premise deployment formats.GDC founder and CEO Dr. Man-Nang Chong said, "Our enterprise software is the result of over 20 years of experience in digital cinema, built through continuous collaboration with various industry partners. By implementing our software suite, these partners gain access to advanced technology that addresses operational challenges through automation tailored for today's and tomorrow's digital cinema landscape."

GDC’s TMS designed for multiplexes is a comprehensive solution for managing movie content, digital cinema equipment, and more from a central location across the multiplex. It enables teamwork with multi-user control, managing screenings, content, power, automating SPLs, pre-show entertainment, key delivery message delivery, digital cinema packages, and remote monitoring with a mobile app. Currently, more than 24,000 screens and 3,400 theatres are powered by GDC's leading TMS software, illustrating a robust adoption rate.

Managing screenings across an entire cinema circuit from headquarters GDC’s central management system enables automated key delivery message delivery, third-party integration for show programming and content transfer, as well as monitoring scheduled shows and playback status. GDC’s CMS has become a pivotal tool for cinema management and by October 2024, over 5,420 screens across 800 theatres utilized this system, showcasing remarkable growth of over 425 percent in screens and 300 percent in theatres from 1,030 screens across more than 200 theatres in 2019. This rapid adoption reflects the critical role of CMS in enhancing operational efficiency and offering seamless management solutions for cinema chains with multiple locations.

Managing multiplexes across various locations allows for monitoring device health, automating fault ticketing, and managing log reports. The implementation of GDC’s NOC has seen exponential growth from 2022 to 2024, where the number of screens using NOC technology surged from 2,500 to 5,080, representing an increase of approximately 105 percent. Additionally, the number of theatres rose from more than 380 to more than 830, an increase of about 120 percent. This growth highlights the increasing demand for and effectiveness of GDC’s NOC systems in optimizing global cinema operations.
