Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, now chairman and CEO of EchoLight Studios has announced the creation of EchoLight Cinemas, calling it a new world-premiere film distribution strategy focused on partnership with the church.

"Our vision is not to create sermons wrapped in a movie but to create content that inspires, fascinates and incorporates a strong Christian worldview in a manner that is accessible and can be incorporated into each viewer's journey of faith," said Jeff Sheets, president of EchoLight Studios. "We want to be a part of empowering the church to elevate its role as a cultural change agent."

EchoLight Cinemas is scheduled to launch with four movies, one per quarter, with the first premiering in September. It has four additional movies in process, which it plans to premiere every three months.

Tickets for the opening feature, One Generation Away, will become available June 1. Churches can begin pre-registering at no charge to be an EchoLight Cinemas venue today at http://echolightcinemas.com/cinemas/.
