DVS will serve as an Official Supplier of the Berlin International Film Festival February 6-16 and provide three Clipster mastering stations as well as one SpycerBox Flex to handle storage and workflows.
The Berlin International Film Festival is one of the international film industry’s most important events. More than 300,000 sold tickets, almost 20,000 professional visitors from 124 countries, including almost 4,000 journalists: art, glamour, parties and business are all inseparably linked at the Berlinale. The public program of the Berlin International Film Festival shows about 400 films per year, mostly international or European premieres with films of every genre, length and format.
All in all, 1,000 films are being shown at Berlinale. This year about 60 percent of the film material is being delivered as Digital Cinema Packages, while the rest is available in other data formats or even as tape.
