Doremi Cinema has announced progress in its partnership with Time Antaeus Media Group in China for its major digital cinema deployment in Mainland China. The 1000 screen commitment started late last year. The companies expect the deployment to be completed in July 2010. As part of the arrangement Time Antaeus' Montage CDCS2000 D-Cinema Server manufactured by Doremi is being deployed as part of their digital cinema solution. There are currently over 300 screens equipped with Time Antaeus’ Montage CDCS2000 with an additional 400 screens scheduled for installation. The newest 400 screens were secured by Time Antaeus and CFG—Antaeus Digital Cinema Investment which is the Joint Venture of Time Antaeus and China Film Group and will be installed by March 2010. “After extensive review we selected Doremi as our manufacturer because of their continued performance as distinguished leaders in digital server technology excellent service and outstanding reputation in the digital cinema industry ” says Zhang Baoquan chairman of the board for Time Antaeus Media Group. “We are delighted to be working with such a respected company.” “China has always been an exciting market for us and we see its early adoption of digital cinema as another measurement of the industry's global growth ” says Michael Archer vice president of Doremi Cinema. “Time Antaeus has an outstanding reputation and we are thrilled to partner with them on this important endeavor.”
