Cineworld Leicester Square in London will soon become the first location with Barco’s high dynamic range Lightsteering technology outside of the U.S. The new HDR by Barco experience opens November 22 with Paramount Pictures’ Gladiator II.
Gladiator II will open in existing HDR by Barco locations in the United States on November 22. Gladiator II is the sixth release for HDR by Barco, after Red One, which opens on November 15 only in U.S. theatres.
At Leicester Square, the HDR by Barco screen will be in the Superscreen auditorium, which is also receiving a new Harkness Hugo Screen as part of the install. The result of five years of research, Harkness says Hugo is the only 2D and 3D screen designed specifically for laser projection.
