CGV, South Korea’s largest cinema chain, has installed Christie CineLife+ Series CP4455-RGB pure laser projectors and Christie Mystique Cinema software in its flagship ScreenX theatre. The center screen at CGV’s Yeongdeungpo ScreenX Theatre is now powered by dual Christie CP4455-RGB pure laser projectors and Christie Mystique Cinema.
The CGV Yeongdeungpo ScreenX Theatre houses the world’s longest fixed projection screen, certified by the Korea Record Institute, spans 72 meters (236 feet) in width and reaching a height of 13.9 meters (45.6 feet).
Renowned for producing vivid, true-to-life visuals, the CP4455-RGB projectors ensure outstanding 2D and 3D presentations in this 462-seat theatre. Christie Mystique Cinema software complements this setup by providing precise sub-pixel alignment for seamless dual projection, achieving flawless image quality and uniform brightness. As the first theatre in Seoul to introduce the ScreenX premium large format system, this auditorium is redefining the immersive cinema experience.
