Barco was honored at the 2016 Digital Signage Expo with a prestigious Bronze Apex Award in the arts, entertainment and recreation category. The award recognizes the Barco Lobby Experience installed last year for ShowBiz Cinemas at its Baytown Entertainment Center in Texas.
The annual DSE Apex Awards are designed to recognize and honor achievement in the installation of digital displays and interactive technology and the creation of compelling viewer content. The awards have honored hundreds of companies for their innovation throughout the years.
The Barco Lobby Experience at ShowBiz Baytown features Barco’s complete content creation and management services as well as all hardware (displays, screens, media servers) and the X2O real-time visual communications platform to drive the theater’s animated box office and concession boards, movie posters, and dynamic trailer presentations, called Lobby Domination.
