Arts Alliance Media has announced the continuation of a long-standing partnership with Broadmedia, a cinema technology integrator offering comprehensive support, digital cinema package delivery, equipment, and software to exhibitors in Japan.
As the sole reseller partner of AAM’s Screenwriter Theatre Management System in Japan, Broadmedia played a vital role in providing exhibitors with industry-leading content management services in their first term, the result of an effective virtual print fee program.
Confirmation of the agreement will ensure their exhibitor network can continue to benefit from Screenwriter’s comprehensive content management functionality and provide scope for Broadmedia to deploy additional services from AAM’s portfolio.
“After transforming a network of exhibitors’ operations by providing the tools to build efficiency and manage content more effectively, demand for Screenwriter, and our relationship with Arts Alliance Media, remains stronger than ever,” said Toshihito Kubo, executive director of Broadmedia. “We look forward to building upon our success by being Japan’s sole point of contact for AAM solutions.”
David Ong, AAM’s vice president of sales for the Asia Pacific region added, “I’m delighted to extend our partnership for a second term. Broadmedia have played an integral role in developing the performance of exhibition in Japan, providing essential operational software and high-quality support. By enabling access to a suite of market-leading solutions, we’re committed to achieving sustained, incremental growth.”
Responsible for scheduling features, trailers and advertisements, monitoring screens, and controlling playback for over 42,000 screens worldwide, AAM’s Screenwriter remains the most powerful, widely deployed TMS in the world. With Producer, an enterprise TMS, and Lifeguard, a hardware management tool, also at their disposal, Broadmedia are well equipped to continue driving innovation in the region.
