Sony Electronics has been named a recipient of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ 72nd Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy Award. Sony’s OLED reference monitors were recognized by the esteemed organization for their contributions to and impact on mastering quality in the industry. The awards ceremony that will take place in partnership with the National Association of Broadcasters as part of their fall Show on October 10.
With its annual April trade show in Las Vegas cancelled in the wake of the pandemic, the National Association of Broadcasters in its place is offering a new digital experience. The NAB Show Express will take place May 13-14 free of charge and will include a Future of Cinema track produced in partnership with the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.

As the latest addition to the Canon Cinema EOS line of professional cameras, the EOS C300 Mark II features evolutionary updates including a new 8.85 Megapixel Super 35mm Cinema CMOS Sensor, new Dual DIGIC DV 5 Processors and a new Canon XF-AVC Codec that allows 10-bit 4:2:2 4K image data to be recorded internally, and an expanded dynamic range of up to 15 stops.
