Bow Tie Cinemas has announced that renovations will begin after Labor Day to upgrade the Marquis 16 and Bow Tie Extreme in Trumbull, Connecticut into a Bow Tie Ultimate theater. Ultimate renovations at the Marquis will include reserved luxury recliner seating in all auditoriums, as well as the installation of Dolby Atmos premium audio presentation in their already established BTX large format experience. CJ 4DPLex says it closed out a successful first half of the year with record-breaking 4DX attendance and box office revenue. According to the company, from January 1 through June 30, more than 9.3 million 4DX moviegoers helped generate close to more than $110 million at the worldwide box office, the best half-year performance since the company launched 4DX in 2009.
