IMAX Corporation and Shanghai Bestar Cinemas Management today announced a sales agreement for seven new IMAX theatres to be located throughout China.

This agreement comes on the heels of a successful run at Nordisk’s first 4DX theatre in Oslo, the Nordisk Ringen. During full time screenings of eight Hollywood titles since March 10, the theater has seen an overall occupancy rate of 72 percent.
SF Studios, Stockholm, has signed an agreement to begin using Unique Digital’s Movie Transit system to deliver digital cinema packages electronically into cinemas across the Nordic Territories. Movie Transit will enable SF Studios to deliver quickly, securely, and reliably across four different territories, providing digital delivery access to nearly 1,000 cinema sites.
