Palace Amusement Opens Jamaica’s 4DX Auditorium

CJ 4DPlex and Palace Amusement, the premiere cinema chain in Jamaica, announced today at CinemaCon, the international trade show for the exhibition industry, their newly established agreement to open the first ever 4DX auditorium on the island. This also marks the first premium large format offered anywhere in the country.

CinemaOne Acquiring MovieTowne in Trinidad and Tobago

CinemaOne in Trinidad and Tobago is in the process of raising up to seven million dollars to partially fund its expansion at the Price Plaza shopping center in Chaguanas. The news was reported last week on the website of the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange. CinemaOne said it intends to acquire and reopen the former MovieTowne Chaguanas location.
