The Star Cinema Grill of Richmond, Texas has become the second movie theatre in North America to install a Samsung Onyx LED Cinema Screen. And in true Texas style at 46-feet wide, it’s the largest Onyx screen in North America.

With the 4K model earning validation as the world’s first Digital Cinema Initiatives-certified LED theatre display, the Samsung Onyx translates the combination of advanced LED and high dynamic range picture quality to lifelike big screen content.
As more theaters continue to upgrade to the Onyx screen globally, Samsung is working with cinema content developers to ensure that the displays are optimizing upcoming films. Samsung Onyx is currently installed in 16 countries around the globe. The Star Cinema Grill installation in Richmond is now the second screen in the U.S.
