Hoyts’ multi-million-dollar refurbishment of its Erina, Australia cinema is now complete, bringing the biggest cinema screens to the country’s Central Coast. The upgrade features state-of-the-art technology, superior comfort, and ample food and beverage offerings.
The addition of new innovative technologies including the immersive Hoyt’s D-Box experience, enhances the movie experience with motion recliner seats synced to the on-screen action. The new facilities make this cinema the entertainment go-to for all movie-lovers in the Central Coast region.
The venue boasts the very best experiences available in modern cinema, including luxury recliners, day beds for up to three people, and two premium large format auditoriums with 24-meter-wide screens and Dolby Atmos sound.
President and CEO of The Hoyts Group Damian Keogh says the new Erina refurbishment provides a first-class cinema experience on the Central Coast.
“In all our newest cinemas, we’ve been rolling out D-Box,” he said. “This award-winning motion technology provides an immersive experience that only a cinema can provide. The new Hoyts Erina cinema is an important part of the company’s continued investment into creating the cinema of the future for our guests.
“This industry continues to face increased competition from streaming platforms and home entertainment,” Keogh continued, “but our promise is that guests experience more at Hoyts. Hoyts Erina takes this to a whole new level bringing a world-class entertainment option to the people of the Central Coast.”
The exhibitor has also upgraded its food and beverage offerings. Hoyts Erina location manager Anthony Duke says the extensive food offering only enhances the cinema experience.
“These food and beverage options cater for every taste and give people the option to combine a movie and a meal, or grab a coffee, a cocktail or a glass of wine,” he said. “We can’t wait to share the experience of next level technology, comfort, and hospitality with our guests, bringing them the best cinema on the Central Coast.”
