AAM Renews Partnership with San Sebastian International Film Festival

Arts Alliance Media and the San Sebastian International Film Festival in Spain have renewed their software partnership for the seventh consecutive event, enabling AAM’s Producer and Screenwriter theatre solutions to manage all the festival’s content and scheduling for its 2021 edition. The festival is on now through September 25.

GDC Unveils New Audio Processing Features in the SR-1000 IMB

GDC Technology Limited has unveiled two built-in audio processing features of its SR-1000 integrated media block. Users of SR-1000 now have the option to bring immersive audio experience to their screens with an upgrade to 16-channel DTS:X immersive sound. Additionally, a new built-in 16-channel cinema audio processor is made available to replace an external cinema audio processor for the 16-channel DTS:X setup.

Vista Launches First Version of Vista Cloud

Vista has launched the first version of Vista Cloud, a new generation of scalable cloud-hosted cinema software, fully managed by Vista. The platform will initially be available to select customers, before being made more widely available in 2022. The company says that Vista Cloud signifies a major evolution of Vista’s software, with the full suite of Vista functionality being transformed into Vista Cloud.

GDC Introduces SR-1130 Integrated Media Block

GDC Technology has developed a new media server designed specifically for Sony’s SRX-R320 4K digital cinema projector introduced in 2009. The SR-1130 Integrated Media Block is a Digital Cinema Initiative compliant media server produced for the aforesaid Sony’s 4K projector. It is flexible in that it not only replaces Sony’s LMT-300 digital cinema server to extend the life of SRX-R320 projector while maintaining its projection quality and standard, but also integrates seamlessly in the future with all series of DLP Cinema projectors.
