The Motion Picture Sound Editors association has elected Mark Lanza as president. Lanza is an award-winning supervising sound editor and currently serves as the organization’s treasurer. His two-year term as president begins in January. He succeeds Tom McCarthy.
The MCX Multicines Xtreme theatre has just opened in the Condado de Quito shopping mall and is Ecuador’s first cinema equipped with 4K RGB laser projection. Integrator Cinema Equipment & Supplies handled the installation of a Christie CP4330-RGB projector with RealLaser illumination.

Arts Alliance Media is providing its Screenwriter Theatre Management System and software support to the Sundance Film Festival for the fourth consecutive year.
