The new ScreenX PLF auditorium will have 336 seats and a 20-meter-wide screen, the largest ScreenX in the country.

As the company seeks to centralize asset management and put an end to potential show interruptions, Ster-Kinekor will deploy Lifeguard, the cloud-based Network Operations Centre solution, to monitor 436 screens across South Africa, becoming first recipient of its new-look user interface and impressive suite of workflows and data points.
GDC Technology Limited has won a solicited proposal from Cinemex to exclusively provide 200 digital cinema media servers. Cinemex is Mexico’s second largest theatre circuit and operates in cities such as Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Toluca, Juarez, Leon, Tijuana, Mexicali, Puebla, and other Mexican cities. The agreement involves the deployment of the GDC SR-1000 Standalone Integrated Media Block with Portable Storage to to be installed over the next 12 months. The agreement covers the replacement of legacy media servers at existing sites and all Cinemex’s new construction projects in Mexico.
