Ymagis Group Names Georges Garic New Deputy CEO

Ymagis Group has appointed Georges Garic as its new deputy chief executive officer. For the past three years, Garic was executive vice president and president, EMEA of international electronic manufacturing services company Asteelflash.

George GaricGaric is an engineer graduated from France’s EISTI Graduate School in Computer Science & Mathematics Engineering. He began his professional career in 1990 at Cartier Industries, where he occupied various high-profile positions in France and Germany. Ten years later, Garic joined Valeo, a multinational automotive supplier, where he successively managed several business divisions. He relocated to the US East Coast in 2004 to head up Valeo’s motors and actuators subsidiary. Shortly after, he joined Asteelflash – 6,000 employees and USD 900 million in revenue – where he was head of business development (2005) and executive VP, USA & China (2008) before becoming executive VP of the group and president, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) in 2012.

He has managed businesses in the US, Germany and France, and supervised many subsidiaries in numerous countries, including China."

Garic, 50, is based in Paris and reports directly to Mizrahi. Now a member of the Group’s executive committee, his appointment is effective today.

Garic replaces Jean-Marie Dura, who joined the board of directors following a General Ordinary and Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting on June 30, 2015.
