Philadelphia-based event cinema distributor SpectiCast Entertainment has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Rising Alternative. "The acquisition of Rising Alternative tremendously enhances our presence in the event cinema marketplace," said Mark Rupp, president of SpectiCast. "Not only will we gain access to amazing programs; the acquisition will accelerate the expansion of our global cinema network."
"I am pleased to be working with SpectiCast to leverage the complementary strengths of both firms to capitalize on the tremendous growth opportunities available in the event cinema industry," said Giovanni Cozzi, founder and CEO of Rising Alternative.
Cozzi will remain active in the company throughout the transition process. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
