Screenvision’s creative solutions group, 40 Foot Solutions, has enlisted tech expert Shelly Palmer from Fox Television’s Shelly Palmer Digital Living to bring the best in holiday tech from RadioShack to moviegoers nationwide.

In addition to the branded entertainment segment, RadioShack is running its holiday ad campaign enabled with audio-recognition technology from SoundHound, which allows moviegoers to connect with the brand for deeper engagement. The Screenvision in-cinema program recently launched in theatres and runs for eight weeks, hitting all major holiday shopping periods.

“As brands continue to look for ways to cut through the clutter around the holidays, cinema proves an immersive and effective environment to reach holiday shoppers,” said John McCauley, executive vice president, CMO & Strategic Alliances, Screenvision. “In addition, 40 Foot Solutions provides creative and high-impact programs that augment the powerful attributes of cinema.  In front of some highly anticipated films this holiday season, from Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 to Interstellar and Big Hero 6, we are excited to put RadioShack’s best of holiday tech front and center with millions of moviegoers.”

40 Foot Solutions created the 60-second branded content segment for RadioShack, which includes some of the retailer’s top holiday tech items, from remote control drones to interactive speaker walls. The cinema program with Screenvision also includes RadioShack’s new ad spot. Moviegoers will be able to engage with the spot through SoundHound, unlocking $10 off their next purchase at the retailer. Other interactive elements include a store locator, gift guide and option to download the featured song by Weird Al Yankovic.  This is the second SoundHound Program, following Levi’s program executed in the summer.

40 Foot Solutions, formed earlier this year, is focused on developing branded content, as well as graphics and animation packages that amplify a brand’s impact and engagement with moviegoers in Screenvision’s Front & Center preshow. Previous highlights include the following content segments and programs:  Front & Center at CES with Shelly Palmer, Front and Center at E3 with Jessica Chobot featuring Dell Alienware, Lincoln MKC, truth with Audience Entertainment interactive gaming technology, SoundHound and the Cinema Advertising Council.
