Arri has promoted Sebastien Laffoux to director of sales, camera systems, effective immediately. In this new role, he is responsible for managing the entire camera sales team for North America with regional representatives based in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. Laffoux reports directly to Glenn Kennel, president of Arri Inc., who is based at Arri Inc.’s headquarters in Burbank, California.
Says Kennel, “I am pleased to offer Sebastien this opportunity to work with me in building our team and further developing camera system sales. He has agreed to relocate to the Burbank office in the middle of 2017.“
With over 15 years at Arri Canada, Laffoux previously served as an accounts manager before transitioning to technical sales representative and then technical sales manager, Eastern Region for North America. He brings a wealth of product and application experience on lenses, cameras and accessories along with customer relations to this enhanced responsibility at Arri.
Laffoux notes, “This is an exciting time for Arri, as we are launching a powerful suite of creative tools for the filmmaking community. I am humbled by the opportunity to lead the amazing Arri camera team, and I look forward to energizing our customer experience.”
