IndiePix to Sponsor 2009 Cinema Eye Honors For Second Year

IndiePix is returning as the presenting sponsor and production partner for this year's Cinema Eye Honors. IndiePix was the Founding Sponsor and partner in the successful inaugural non-fiction awards last year and is once again joining with AJ Schnack author and filmmaker of Kurt Cobain: About a Son and Thom Powers documentary programmer for the Toronto Film Festival for the 2009 event March 29th in New York City. Ten categories have been selected including Outstanding Achievement in Debut feature the Audience Choice Award and a new category Outstanding Achievement in Composing has been added. Golden Globe award-winning Waltz with Bashir has been nominated for a record seven Cinema Eye Honors including Outstanding Achievement in Direction as well as the coveted award for Outstanding Achievement in Non-Fiction Feature Filmmaking. Man on Wire which is also in the running for the top award is on the Oscar shortlist for Best Feature Documentary.
