Gravitas, Incognito Enter Licensing Agreement

Gravitas Ventures and Incognito Pictures have entered into a licensing agreement for North American distribution. Incognito Pictures has established a Film Finishing Fund for independent films and documentaries in need of completion and distribution. For films that meet the requirements, Incognito will acquire and complete the projects and in turn, Gravitas will release these films in theaters and/or VOD.

“We are excited to collaborate with Incogtnito,” said Gravitas Founder and CEO, Nolan Gallagher. “We have enjoyed working with them on the documentary Fastball that debuts on March 25.”

Fastball which is narrated by Kevin Costner (Field of Dreams, Bull Durham), also features iconic baseball talent including Hank Aaron, Nolan Ryan, Bob Gibson, Goose Gossage, Derek Jeter and the late Tony Gwynn. The feature from writer/director Jonathan Hock and Executive Producers Thomas Tull and Jack Selby will also be released in theaters and on demand March 25. In addition fans will be able to preview it through Tugg on March 24.

Celebrating their tenth anniversary this year, Gravitas Ventures was founded by Gallagher in 2006 and remains at the forefront of distribution – both domestic and international – for independent films. Scott Stone, a leader in the independent production and finance world, founded incognito Pictures. Stone has dedicated more than two decades to meaningful independent films including the recent feature film adaptation of the Academy Award winning documentary Freeheld, starring Ellen Page and Julianne Moore.
