Christie Solaria Projectors Gain DCI Certification

Christie Solaria Series 2 CP4230 and CP4220 projectors have obtained Digital Cinema Initiatives certification following compliance testing by CineCert. “Ours was the first 4K DLP Cinema projection system to be demonstrated publicly over a year ago at IBC 2010 and then officially launched several weeks later ” says Don Shaw director product management Christie Entertainment Solutions. “We welcome the certification which will be of most interest to our largest customers whose plans include showing the latest in ultra-high resolution superior cinema content to their most discerning audiences.”

 Numerous theater chains and independent cinema groups around the world have purchased the CP4220 and 4230 projectors including Southern Theatres (USA); Cineplex Inc.
