ArcLight Cinemas is installing GDC Technology’s SX-2000A digital cinema servers with integrated media block. To date 48 systems have been installed in four different locations. Under the new agreement ACS Enterprises will supply and install the servers. ArcLight operates 61 screens at four locations in Southern California including the historic and unique Cinerama Dome – one of only three such theaters in the world. “In making this important transition we wanted to ensure the new technology would support our goal of providing the best possible movie going experience for our guests.
