Arts Alliance Media has signed a long-term virtual print fee contract with Medusa Film Italy’s leading film distributor. Under the terms of the agreement whenever a film by Medusa is booked on a digital cinema system that is part of AAM’s current network in Italy Medusa will provide the film in digital format and pay a virtual print fee to contribute towards the cost of converting cinemas from 35mm to digital projection. This VPF contract complements AAM’s existing deals with all six Hollywood Studios which cover digital rollout across Europe and allow AAM to support the digital conversion of cinemas.
