National CineMedia has named Lawrence Snapp to the new role of senior vice president of corporate development and chief digital officer. A Microsoft and digital transformation veteran, Snapp joined NCM in September as senior vice president of corporate development and will lead NCM’s newly formed digital products team focused on delivering innovative consumer experiences and new ways for brands to connect with movie audiences as chief digital officer.

The daughter of the renowned filmmaker and Italian actress Paola Mori, Beatrice Welles had a particularly extraordinary childhood. Keshet Studios CEO Alon Shtruzman and has announced the launch of Keshet Films. The newly formed global feature development and production division will be co-headed by award-winning producers Mandy Tagger-Brockey and Adi Ezroni. Keshet Studios is the LA-based subsidiary of Keshet International.
The Hollywood Professional Association has opened the call for entries for its Engineering Excellence Award. Submissions for the engineering awards will be accepted from April 23 to May 26. Now in its 12th year, the HPA Engineering Excellence Award is considered one of the most important technology honors in the industry, spotlighting companies and individuals who draw upon technical and creative ingenuity to develop breakthrough technologies.
Jerome Dewhurst has joined Roundabout Entertainment’s technical staff as chief color scientist. Dewhurst will oversee and manage the color pipeline for the facility’s growing digital intermediate and color correction operations, and set best practices for color company-wide. He will also lead research efforts to develop new software, technologies and services related to color management.
Ymagis today reported its consolidated financial results for the 2016 fiscal year, ending December 31, 2016, as approved by the Group’s Board of Directors following its meeting April 4, 2017. In 2016, Ymagis Group maintained its strong growth momentum, reporting revenues up by +13 percent at €178.2 million, primarily due to the acquisition of businesses completed both in 2015 and 2016.
