Targeted at premium art house theatres, Screenvision Media’s new network Screenvision Select launched in theaters this past fall within the top domestic markets across the country.
Webedia has acquired a majority stake in UK-based cinema web development and digital marketing specialists Peach Digital Limited.
The company believes the acquisition of Peach will reinforce Webedia’s existing assets in Europe and the US. It will add the Peach Cinema Web Platform, featuring the middleware application that is central to Peach’s online cinema offering.
Screenvision Media today announced the signing of two new long-term agreements totaling 177 screens across 17 theatres with CMX and Pacific Theatres. These agreements increase Screenvision Media’s inventory in the nation’s top three markets: New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago
Screenvision Media has signed long-term agreements totaling 1,790 screens across 170 theatres with eleven key exhibitors: National Amusements, Premiere Cinemas, Studio Movie Grill, Frank Theatres, Cinépolis, Classic Cinemas, Emagine Entertainment, Zyacorp Entertainment’s Cinemagic Stadium Theatres, Zurich Cinemas, CineLux Theatres and Cinema Café.
National CineMedia has partnered with Twitter and Disney to feature Rogue One trailer assets and fan tweets on NCM's Lobby Entertainment Network of screens strategically located near the box office and other high-traffic lobby locations in select movie theatres nationwide. “This is our way of reimagining the lobby experience,” said NCM president Cliff Marks.
Bow Tie Cinemas has signed on to become National CineMedia’s newest affiliate. Beginning in the first quarter of 2017 Bow Tie’s 43 theaters with 271 screens in Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Virginia will become part of America’s Movie Network.
Screenvision Media has hired west coast sales veteran Vince Amalfi as vice president of national advertising sales. Based in Screenvision Media’s Los Angeles office, Amalfi will lead the LA ad sales team, deepen client relationships and grow opportunities for brands and agencies across the west coast.
Screenvision Media has formed a dedicated automotive category team in response to interest in the company’s services from the automotive industry. Screenvision Media’s Tracy Kain will lead the team, bringing 14 years of experience at the company and a wealth of automotive sales knowledge to her new role.
In a move to strengthen its lobby network, Screenvision Media has formed an alliance with Elite Sampling & Media Group, and hired David Griffin. The goal is to increase value for advertisers before and after the movies. Screenvision Media’s lobby network, now includes more than 2,300 theatres, ands provides exhibitors with a host of integrated ways to deliver ultimate brand impact to consumers, including retargeting, special events and sampling.
The Santa Rosa Entertainment Group has incorporated the Barco Lobby in its Plaza Stadium 14 theatre in Oxnard, installing a network of animated box office, concession and menu boards, way finding displays and movie posters and a custom multi-screen movie trailer presentation system.
