Cinemark has signed a three-year agreement to equip its theatres throughout North America, Central America and South America with Harman cinema audio solutions. Following an extensive review process that involved testing six demo systems from different manufacturers, Cinemark chose Harman’s JBL speakers and Crown amplifiers for their superior sound quality and reliable operation.
“We have enjoyed a very successful partnership with Harman Professional Solutions for well over a decade already—it was no surprise to me that they finished in front,” said Walter Hebert, Senior vice president of purchasing, Cinemark. “Many Cinemark theaters already use JBL speakers and Crown amplifiers, and we look forward to implementing these solutions at many more theaters throughout the Americas.”
