Cathay Cineplexes, Singapore, has installed Dolby Atmos sound.Cathay Cineplexes, one of the leading multiplex operators in Singapore, has installed the Dolby Atmos sound platform. The first movie screened there with the new sound format was I, Frankenstein (Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment), starring Aaron Eckhart and Yvonne Strahovski.

For the first time ever in South East Asia, Cathay Cineplexes will debut a loyalty program exclusively for Dolby Atmos movie titles. For every movie ticket they purchase for a viewing in Dolby Atmos, moviegoers will get a stamp on their Cathay Cineplexes loyalty card; and they will be rewarded for every five and 10 movie tickets purchased between June 1 and December 31. Popcorn and drinks will be on the house once moviegoers have accumulated five stamps, and a pair of complimentary movie passes will be given with every 10 stamps accumulated.
